About Me: After graduation I accepted a job I knew I didn't want as Executive Director of the Center for Environmental Philosophy (EPI, Inc), a non profit corporation supported by UNT. I only committed to a short-term contract -- that was 15 years ago! David is a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist and is an Adjunct faculty member at several local colleges. About Me: Blake M. Hedgecock’s law practice focuses on complex commercial real estate litigation matters in state and federal courts, with special emphasis on disputes involving institutional lenders, financial service companies, conduit lenders, and master and special servicers of commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS). Mr. Hedgecock’s practice includes client representation in matters concerning securitizations, workouts, acquisitions, appointment of receivers, waste of the underlying collateral, judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, and REMIC-related matters.
Mr. Hedgecock has additional experience in construction, finance and eminent domain matters, including the representation of both condemnor and condemnee in whole and partial takings, temporary takings, inverse condemnation and regulatory takings matters.
Mr. Hedgecock received both his B.B.A. in real estate finance and his M.S. in real estate analysis from the University of North Texas. He received his J.D. in 2000 from the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, where he was the marketing editor of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review, a member of the Moot Court Honors Program and a member of two ABA National Negotiation Competition Teams. He received his LL.M. in real property development from the University of Miami School of Law. He received his mediation certificate in 1998, and has additional real estate valuation training from the Appraisal Institute.
Mr. Hedgecock is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the College of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Center for Legal Ethics and Professionalism, the American Bar Association, and the Dallas and Tarrant County Bar Associations. About Me: I graduated with the best of professors - Dunn, Ledgerwood, Rachel. That probably dates me, but those learning years were the best times. I am actively looking for a new job, and can't seem to find the right match. I look forward to being part of an active association of fellow M.B.A. students.

About Me: I was born & raised in North Texas. I received my BS in Econ/Fina from UTD in 1996. I joined Merrill Lynch in Dec of '94 and have been with them ever since. I most recently graduated with top honors from UNT with an MBA in Finance (May '07). While at UNT (during my graduate education), I had chaired the Portfolio Management Committee (PMC) of the Student Investment Group (SIG). (As an undergraduate, I was one of the SIG's founding directors and its first secretary.)
