Graduate Lab « Labs « College of Business

The College of Business is pleased to offer a technology lab exclusively for business graduate students. Some of the features of this lab include:

24 PC's with the same software and hardware as the other COBA labs
High-speed laser printer as well as a laser color printer
Bright, quiet environment available for graduate students only
High-quality, ergonomic seating
Available for reserving as a "hands-on" classroom set up
Open during the regular COBA lab hours

Reserving the graduate lab

The lab can be reserved by faculty for to be used as a "hands-on" classroom for graduate level courses only. The lab must be reserved in at least one week in advance so that we can coordinate the time around students that might be using the lab. To make a reservation, contact Chris Stoermer.

Location and policies

The graduate lab is located in room BA 333, which is in the same area as our General Access Lab on the 3rd floor of the Business building.

In order to effectively maintain the computing resources and environment, all users of the Graduate Lab must follow these few policies:

Availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis
Food, drink, loud talking, distruptive behaviour, and talking on cell phones is never allowed in the labs.
All users much check in to a computer before using it. Users must have a valid UNT ID and be enrolled in at least one business 5000 or 6000 level course
Printing is restricted to course-related work only
Color printing will be limited and may need approval from the lab manager first
Please turn cell phones to silent ring mode
Working in teams is allowed as long as it doesn't disrupt other users
