Frequently Asked Questions

The following is a list we've compiled of the most frequently asked questions from students. Click on a question to view the response.

I took the GRE already. Do I have to take the GMAT as well?

No, if you already have GRE scores and meet the appropiate requirements, you may use those scores for admission into the program. This option is only available for those applicants who took the GRE prior to submitting an application. If you have not taken either test, you must take the GMAT.

I haven't taken the GMAT but want to take classes. What can I do?

The Toulouse School of Graduate Studies admits students on a graduate non-degree (GNDE) basis. This option is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who meet minimum GPA requirements. The GNDE classification allows you to take up to twelve hours of 5XXX level courses before being officially admitted to a graduate program. Once you have taken the GMAT and meet the entrance standards, you may change your major from GNDE to the appropriate professional concentration. Contact the College of Business Administration Graduate Academic Advisor in BA 229 for further information.

When should I get a degree plan?

A degree plan should be filed within the first semester that you are enrolled in the MBA or MS program.

How do I get a degree plan?

You will need to schedule an appointment with your departmental advisor. The advisor will help you select the courses for your concentration/major and fill out the degree plan worksheet. The worksheet will be forwarded to the College of Business Administration Graduate Programs Office (BA 229) for completion. A finalized copy will be mailed to your home address.
