The MBA in Accounting is designed to enhance the students ability to understand and use accounting information to effectively manage the business enterprise. This program provides students with the theory, analytical skills, and research ability necessary to conduct the planning, organizing and controlling functions within an organization. It further prepares students for challenges in a business environment characterized by rapid technological change, expanding accounting information needs, and global competition.
Background Courses (16.5 hours)
All students must fullfil the MBA Program's background course requirements. These background courses are equivalent to foundation courses of an undergraduate business program and will be waived where appropriate after evaluation of transcripts. Depending on the student's objective they may also need accounting leveling courses. Consult with an advisor.
