Jane Sewell was a graduate of the Accounting Program here at the University of North Texas. Her wish was to provide financial support for accounting students in need who are high academic achievers, particularly women. The department received an endowment from Jane Sewell that allows the department to award a large number of scholarships each year.

My name is Meghan Foster. I am from Decatur, TX. I have had a wonderful experience in the 5 year accounting program, and I feel lucky to have been selected for these scholarships. It is very hard working full time and going to school. Scholarships really help ease the burden. I am extremely grateful to the donors of my scholarships. They truly make a difference.
